    Sheffield Transmission made its move from Sorby Street to a large premises at Julian Road in Sheffield. During this time the stock had expanded and staff levels had increased.

The availability of over 15000 units ranging from fractional hp geared motors to 2000kw bevel helical gearboxes, from 1.25”centre to 28” centre worm gearboxes and fluid couplings to offer immediately under breakdown conditions.

Our unique position in the market allows us to offer obsolete gearboxes, types of many makes to the industry without the need to involve footprint or mounting changes to applications. The application range is industry wide from Steel plant, Quarrying and Mining to Ship loading and Pharmaceuticals.

We offer a free quotation service. If you don’t require your product refurbishing/replacing then we won’t charge you for the service. Accreditation to ISO9001 is your guarantee of Quality assurance.

Our transport links in the UK are excellent, equally within 1 mile of Sheffield Airport and the M1 motorway in the centre of the UK. Whether in component form or fully refurbished we offer transportation by our own fleet (up to 7.5 tonne) by road within the UK and by freight forwarders worldwide.
